Charity Drive at Kong Meng San Phor Kark See Monastery on Vesak Day

During Vesak week, despite our super busy baking schedule for vegetarian cake orders, some of us at Delcie’s still managed to finish up all our orders and completed our mad baking for this charity drive in the wee morning; then catch a little nap before driving down to Kong Meng San Phor Kark See Monastery at 5am to set up the stall.

Although throughout the day, we were feeling sleepy and soaked in perspiration from head to toes under the hot sun selling our cookies and muffins, we were still having a lot of fun. Especially after donating our sales proceeds at the end of the event to the organizers at 5pm, we were all feeling proud of our achievements and hard work.
