And just like the sweet, citrusy Yuzu we used inside—it’s her brightness that lifts you up, every day.

We created this dessert as a tribute to her.

A lotus begins its life deep in the mud, unseen, uncelebrated.
It pushes through murky waters, reaching for the light—defying every challenge to bloom into something extraordinary.
It is resilient. It is beautiful. It flourishes despite the struggle.

Just like a mother.

She begins her journey in the quiet depths of sacrifice—nurturing, guiding, and weathering storms for those she loves. She carries the weight of unspoken worries, the invisible burdens, the late nights and early mornings.

This Mother’s Day, we honour her journey with A Mother’s Radiance—a lotus-inspired dessert crafted with quiet devotion and presented with the thoughtful restraint found in the art of Japanese pastry making.

Every element was placed with intention.

The glass reveals what often goes unseen: her clarity, her fragility, and her grace.
Translucent layers of crystal jelly offer gentle nourishment—just as she has, silently giving more of herself with each passing year while we move busily through our lives.

At the heart of this creation rests a silky Yuzu mousse, layered with soft vanilla sponge and biscuit crumbs—symbolising the soil she builds, the foundation she lays, and the quiet sunshine she brings to every day.

Topped with an edible lotus bloom made with collagen-rich peach gum and adorned with 24k gold flakes, this is a dessert made to shine—because she deserves nothing less.

Surrounding her, panels of pressed flora petals reflect the many roles she plays: mentor, protector, nurturer, dreamer.
The glass holds them together, just as she holds the family—with love, compassion, and grace.
