Delcie's was born out of a personal challenge and a deep sense of regret.
My biggest regret to date has been not being able to find a suitable birthday cake for my mother; she has since passed on. This experience became the main driving factor behind my motivation to create a range of cakes that are safe for people living with diabetes, food allergies, or diet restrictions, and even for children with sensitive, developing stomachs.
The Blue Forest Cake was a natural extension of our Red Forest success.
Naturally, there's always a concern about sourness when using berries in cakes. That's why I chose Japanese blueberries known for their premium quality and natural sweetness, a perfect match for our customers' tastes.
I worked closely with my wonderful kitchen team to create the recipe by doing what we always did best - making it healthier with zero cholesterol, trans fat, and sugar - the common culprits that make regular cakes unhealthy.
